The 2nd Annual Canadian Asterisk Users and Open Telephony Conference continue to be presented by
IT360° Conference & Expo and sponsored by the Toronto Asterisk Users Group. This conference addresses
the critical issues facing professionals while providing realistic strategies enabling them to implement
the best and most cost efficient solutions for their organizations.
The Canadian Asterisk Users and Open Telephony Conference is a knowledge driven conference where
successful industry specialists with in-depth real world field experience in their area of expertise
deliver information that is not readily available at any other Canadian conference.
This upcoming Conference will provide IT professionals the information they need, on the latest
breaking applications, technologies, regulations and standards to provide a high level of value within
their organizations.
Speakers selected to present have the opportunity to network between consultants, end users and
industry leading vendors, in an atmosphere of collaboration and creativity. It's a fertile ground for
the foundation of strategic alliances, joint ventures and creative partnerships.
Individuals wishing to provide a presentation should carefully read this Call for Speakers and
adhere to the guidelines outlined.
All accepted presentations will be available to all conference delegates (including the CTCA Spring
Conference, the CIO Executive Council Regional Conference and the IT360° Conference & Expo) and will be
marketed to over 80,000 readers of IT World Canada Publications.
CONFERENCE FORMAT
The 2nd Annual Canadian Asterisk Users and Open Telephony Conference Chair is

Your submission will go to the Conference Chair and Conference Director.
Session Format: 50-60 minute seminars and panel discussions, 3-hour tutorials, 6-hour (1-day clinics), certification programs.

NeutralityPresenters must be product/service neutral and can not be biased to a specific brand.Presentation ExperienceThe speaker must have recognized qualifications relating to the subject. Industry end users, analysts, and authors with references from previous presenting experience(s) in a similar environment have first priority. TimelinessTo ensure that the conference has timely, relevant and unique content, we require that you do not present the same material at a similar conference or to a similar attendee base in the regions of Ontario and Quebec, Canada, 60 days before and 60 days after IT360°. Presentation MaterialsProceedings of the conference sessions will be available electronically and as a printed handout. Speakers must agree to submit all materials by March 1, 2008. Presentation materials are limited to a maximum of 15 pages. There will be 80+ sessions, many running concurrently, therefore we do not have the capability to duplicate materials on show site. The name of the speaker, company and contact information may be included on the first page or slide of a PowerPoint presentation. Corporate logos cannot be on subsequent pages or slides. Speaker SubstitutionIn the case of an unforeseen emergency the speaker must agree to work with the conference director and chairs to find a substitute that is equally qualified to speak about the subject. Substitutions are subject to the conference director's approval. Notification Of AcceptanceSpeakers whose submissions are accepted will be contacted we regret that we cannot contact all those that make submissions. Due to the unreliability of electronic delivery, we recommend that you contact our office to ensure that we have received your submission.
